Once again, the food festival is here. But this round, the stalls were mainly setup by local cuisines. Unlike last year, there were a number of stalls from Taiwan. Although the payment system, which actually save the hassle to make the payment by coupons, we did not grab a lot of food to eat due to the varieties. Therefore, we headed back to The Central to find a place for our dinner. After making our rounds, we finally decided on a restaurant called Fine Cuts. The owner designed the restaurant in the way that it gave the customers an impression of eating in a supermarket (At least to me, I felt that way =x).
:.Gourmet Promenade 2011
:.The tentage filled with food stalls.
:.Here are the stalls
:.Our first purchase of the day
:.Curry fishball (The curry was not spicy at all and the fish balls do not have the taste of the curry. =( )
:.Shark fin soup (It did not have shark fin at all and it tasted like mushroom soup. I think the night market stalls sell better shark fin soup)
:.The restaurant (Doesn't the display of the meat gave you the impression that the meat were very fresh?)
:.The open concept kitchen
:.The restaurant layout
:.Us while waiting for the food
:.Cheers to you!
:.Cream of corn (The taste of the corn was very strong and it was not very creamy)
:.Their best seller, Black pepper chicken chop (The chicken was very tender and has a strong taste of black pepper. The fries were also very crispy and delicious) Food rating: 3.5/5
:.Grilled fish and prawns (The sauce for the fish was too salty for our liking but the prawns were fresh) Food rating: 2.5/5
